The EUR/USD moved lower during today’s session to break our pivot low. This triggered a short trade. Unfortunately, we were stopped out of this trade. The USD/JPY has a pending long trade and is one session away from creating a new pivot low point. The EUR/USD will create a new pivot high at the close of this next session. It also has a pending long trade. The GBP/USD has a pending long trade. The USD/CHF has a pending short trade.
There are no movers trades for tomorrow’s session. The USD has their durable goods orders for July being released tomorrow at 8:30 am ET, so keep an eye on this one.

The EUR/USD created a new pivot low point at the end of this session. This has prompted us to place a pending short order. The USD/JPY, EUR/USD, and GBP/USD all have pending long trades. The USD/CHF has a pending short trade. The USD/JPY and the USD/CHF are both two sessions away from creating a new pivot low. The EUR/USD and the GBP/USD are three sessions away from creating new pivot highs.
There are no movers trades for tomorrow. The FOMC minutes will be releaced tomorrow, so make sure and watch the market.
No gap trades this week.

The USD/JPY pair gapped up three pips on the open. The EUR/USD gapped ten pips on the open of the new session. There was a four pip gap in the GBP/USD. The USD/CHF gapped down one pip on the open of the new session. There were no qualifying gaps this week.
The GBP/USD pending short trade was triggered during Friday’s, unfortunately; we were stopped out at a loss.The USD/JPY has a pending long trade. The EUR/USD and the GBP/USD both have a pending long trade. The USD/CHF has a pending short trade.
There are movers trades for tomorrow.

World Focuses On Olympic Games, Not The Forex…

This past week was relatively quiet report wise for the United States, but that doesn’t mean that the USD wasn’t affected by emerging and continuing trends. Other nations, like Canada, had a very busy week. Fears of inflation and recession seem to continue to dog many nations, while dropping oil prices at least offer a “light at the end of the tunnel” hope to many of the nations desperately scrambling to try and encourage economic growth and fight inflation at the same time.
While overall it was a quiet week for most nations, there was some serious trading information that took place this week, so let’s not dilly-dally anymore and let’s just jump in!

The USD/JPY dropped down like a rock during today’s session to hit our pending short pivot trade. The USD/JPY also created a new pivot high point at the close of this past session. This triggered us to place a pending order. The EUR/USD has a pending long pivot trade. In two more sessions the EUR/USD should create a new pivot low point. The GBP/USD also created a new pivot point during today’s session. The USD/CHF has a pending pivot low trade.
There are no movers trades for tomorrow’s session.
Make sure to look for a gap trade on Sunday.

At the close of this session the USD/JPY should create a new pivot high. We currently have a pending pivot low in this pair. The GBP/USD will also create a new pivot, but this one will be a pivot low. This pair currently has a pending long pivot trade. The USD/CHF has a pending short pivot trade. The EUR/USD has a pending long pivot trade. This pair has the potential to create a new short pivot trade if it closes higher over the next three sessions.
